Parents' Responsibilities

Please note that if you are an adult learning with us - these fall into your responsibilities towards your own Arabic journey.

  1. Providing a Suitable Environment: Ensure a quiet and appropriate study environment for their children.
  2. Preparing the Conditions: Guarantee a dedicated and distraction-free study space.
  3. Providing Necessary Devices: Provide smart devices, laptops, or computers for joining the lessons.
  4. Technical Assistance: Offer technical support to children if needed to join the class.
  5. Monitoring Attendance: Ensure that children attend classes and do not miss them.
  6. Printing Assignments: Ensure that paper assignments are printed so that children can complete them.
  7. Ensuring Classroom Participation: Monitor the process of joining the classroom on Google Classroom.
  8. Privacy Respect: Ensure that classes are not recorded or photographed, respecting the privacy of teachers and students.

Student's Responsibilities

  1. Adherence to Time: Punctually attend scheduled classes.
  2. Proper Posture: Sit properly without eating or lying down.
  3. Respect Time and Instructions: Respect the time and follow the teacher's instructions.
  4. Listening and Not Interrupting: Listen carefully without interrupting the teacher and others, and wait for their turn to participate.
  5. Positive Participation: Engage positively and speak only with the teacher's permission.
  6. Requesting Assistance: Ask parents for help in joining the class if necessary.
  7. Keeping Camera On: Keep the camera on during the class so the teacher can see them.
  8. Mute Microphone: Keep the microphone muted except when participating or requesting to participate.
  9. Completing Assignments: Diligently complete and submit paper assignments on time.
  10. Using School Programs: Adhere to using school programs and completing electronic assignments.

School's Responsibilities

  1. Specialized Curricula: Provide specialized curricula for learning Arabic to facilitate the learning process.
  2. Bilingual and Non-Native Curricula: Offer specialized curricula for bilinguals and non-native Arabic speakers.
  3. Electronic Programs: Provide specialized electronic programs to enhance listening, reading, and comprehension skills.
  4. Qualified Teaching Staff: Employ a highly trained and qualified teaching staff.
  5. Competent Teachers: Have qualified and highly competent female teachers.
  6. Specialized Teachers: Provide specialized teachers from early childhood to higher levels.
  7. Providing Necessary Tools: Supply each teacher with a computer and specialized tools and programs for distance learning.
  8. Technical Support: Offer a technical support team to monitor programs and curricula.
  9. Arabic Content: Provide Arabic content for students that enhances their level from early childhood.
  10. Individual Student Accounts: Provide each student with a private account on an Arabic platform that includes stories, books, activities, and games to develop Arabic language skills.
  11. Assessment Tools: Offer tools for assessing students' levels.

Class structure and other academic information

Class Structure

  1. Weekly Classes: Provide two consecutive classes weekly in one day.

Early Childhood (Ages 3 to 7)

  • First Class: 35 to 40 minutes, depending on the children's level and interaction.
  • Break Between Classes: 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Second Class: 35 to 40 minutes.

Other Levels (Ages 8 to 15)

  • First Class: 40 to 45 minutes.
  • Break Between Classes: 5 minutes.
  • Second Class: 40 to 45 minutes.

Class Times

Weekend (Saturday and Sunday)

  • Start: Between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM at the latest.
  • Example: If the class starts at 9:00 AM, it ends at 10:30 AM.

Weekdays (During Official School Days)

  • Start: Between 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM at the latest.
  • Example: If the class starts at 5:00 PM, it ends at 6:30 PM.

Academic Year

  1. Start of the Academic Year: The academic year begins on the first of September every year.
  2. End of the Academic Year: The academic year ends in mid-June of the following year.
  3. Academic Terms: The study period is divided into three terms:
    • First Term: From September to the end of November.
    • Second Term: From December to the end of February.
    • Third Term: From March to mid-June.

Notes

  1. Student Transfers: After the term results, students who need improvement may be transferred to lower levels suitable for their abilities. Students who excel in exams may be promoted to higher levels suitable for their abilities. Students who pass the exams with acceptable grades may stay in their classes and be given additional materials to strengthen their levels.
  2. Official Holidays: The official holidays coincide with European school holidays, in addition to any special holidays like Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha.
  3. Privacy: Parents and students are not allowed to photograph or share any images of the classes, teacher, or classmates. The school has the right to take pictures to display on the school's main website and social media platforms to encourage students, except when parents officially request not to share their children's photos.

Refund Policy for MyArabic.org

Full Refund Policy (14-Day Period)

If you are not fully satisfied with your course purchase, you are eligible for a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, in accordance with European consumer protection laws. To request a refund within this period, please contact us at finance@myarabic.org with your order details, and we will process your refund promptly.

Refund Policy After 14 Days

After the 14-day refund period, refunds will typically not be granted. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise. If you believe you have a valid reason for requesting a refund after this period, please contact us at finance@myarabic.org. We will review your case individually and make a decision based on the provided information.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding refunds will be handled through direct communication via finance@myarabic.org. We are committed to resolving any issues fairly and promptly, ensuring that our students receive the best possible support.
